Grievances

 

First of all you're generous to a fault
every time you go and open up your heart
you make me laugh until I cry, 
you're gonna blind me with that smile
When i start to contemplate all your sweetness
i'm only gonna end up sleepless
Which is sapping my job performance, 
just been served official verbal warning

These are my grievances 
with loving you
the high expenditures i accrue
for loving you

My pulse starts racing like a heart attack
every time you do or you do not come back
then i break out in a fever, 
but there's no effective pain reliever
Butterflies, goosebumps and palpitations
dizzy hyperventilation
attention span near-zero
dear, you must have shot me with your arrows

These are my grievances

the prohibitive costs incurred
for loving you

It's been too long i hunger for your touch
i've gotta have my sugar rush
you're like a living breathing candy store
that's why i'm coming back for more
Strawberry ice cream and chocolate brownies
you're like a jar or three of honey
or a box of caramel sweeties, 
all of which will give me diabetes
